Without permits and special fees..a fully automatic weapon is illegal. Being America, one can find or convert an AK or AR-15. But is is a felony.

The ONLY time the service uses M-16s is when they are TRAINING. They DON'T deploy with them and they don't qualify on the range with them. All that is done with the M4/AR-15.

It sure didn't sound like a burst fire M16/M4, more than likely a AK-47 variant. Listen to the rate of fire. For an auto weapon it was cycling pretty slow. Plus, if it wasn't FMJ the body could would probably have been much much higher.
