Doesn't matter what the motivation was behind this mass shooting. There is bad and crazy people everywhere. The real question is how do we prevent these people from getting their hands on weapons of mass destruction/murder.

As a country, we could at least TRY to make it harder for these twisted individuals to acquire these weapons/devices.

On a daily basis and we have little to no compassion over that. That is also something we could indeed stop tomorrow. Those people killed elsewhere were no less deserving of life than those killed yesterday. We are the most violent nation in the world and then we are surprised that a citizen is also violent?

We want to disarm the people so the most violent government in the world can have even more power?

Yes but they can't get into the cockpit as easily now. Planes and airlines did a whole reboot in security to not allow cockpit access. As well as think of various scenarios and try their best to prevent it.

And yes at some point a pilot can bring a plane down but that's not a coordinated 9/11 like attack. And that pilot after spending half of their life getting the certification to become a pilot most likely won't kill himself or herself and others unless of a psychotic break and even with that there's another pilot or two in the cockpit with them.

Another question: are we sure this is even the right guy, or is it a "patsy"? So many questions...

I have a shirt from 79, an old super bowl shirt. I rarely wear it so it's lasted.

If this is the same guy, then wow huge bombshell...the logic would follow his wanting to shoot at a huge country music event, which many would say have a much larger following of republicans than democrats.

He supposedly worked as an “internal auditor†for the aeronautics giant Lockheed Martin. Lockheed martin works with NASA, in fact they are the sole contractor on several NASA projects.
It would make sense that he was an anti-Trumper or even an ANTIFA member, considering all the violence the anti-Trumpers have fomented since the election.

What about those that reload ? Limit materials for that ? I hate seeing people put out of work ...

These are precisely the type of regulations that are currently being pushed by Democratic government. Ironically, it's no different a dirty trick than Republicans and their retarded abortion TRAP laws. So at the end of the day we have our entire gov't acting like surreptitious scumbags in order to circumvent the Constitution. That's not a solution.

How would ammo rationing stop a madman? It might slow them down, but it won't stop them. You can't legislate madness. And in order for legislation to be effective, it has to be well-written. Bad laws don't do much to deter actual crime. They just make lawmakers feel productive and fool constituents into thinking they're being protected.

Gun manufactures don't sell guns directly to gangs or criminals. So how are thousands of guns getting onto our streets? There is no gun ever used in a crime that at one point didn't go through a "law abiding" citizen. Either through secondary sales or straw purchases. Criminals have guns because you have guns and that is the truth. The UK for example has plenty of gangs and criminals but few people are shot and killed because its really hard to get a hold of a gun. The facts are stacked against you.

Got it.
I think Ringo is being very helpful. Ringo is making it very clear that arguing over the precise tool used, or its exact rate of fire etc is all noise that tries to mask the problem.

and the problem is very simple. Lots of people with lots of powerful guns and few limits.

We need to review the whole idea of an entire nation being armed to the teeth at every level. we are literally killing ourselves.
