The only law that would have stopped this guy is a gun ban and confiscation. If the guy had to wait 3 days or even a week to make a gun purchase the result would have been exactly the same.

The reality is our society is getting more crazier and violent and no law on the books is going to fix that.

Don't expect specifics from the gun-grabbers, and don't expect an acknowledgment that mental health is a serious issue in this country, either.

DO expect the same old phony outrage and the co-opting of the right's we've had it with the candles, and the thoughts, and prayers, and the Facebook profile filters that WE say after a terrorist attack.

Some things never change.

I didn’t say what she said. But if asked, I’m pretty certain most of the casualties are against ANY kind of gun control and I’m fine with that. People should express their “sympathy and their thoughts and prayers”. None of that is going to do any good, but if it makes you feel better go for it.

Please tell me what good is going to come from discussing gun control. You can make all the laws you want; these laws will be broken.

People will argue that “guns don’t kill people; that people kill people”. Gee who knew my fingers were lethal weapons

Drugs are illegal yet there are dope fiends everywhere. They’re brought back when they OD and the first thing they do is run out the door to get high again.

Why would anybody give their hard earned money to a casino? It’s boring! I’ll never understand that.

In short, why should I enable stupidity? Why should I be insincere?

JHPs are hardly armor piercing bullets, they expand in their target so they don't exit and hit an innocent bystander, but don't let reality get in the way. The shooter used high-powered military grade weapons that are very costly and difficult to acquire, if they're even legal in a particular jurisdiction (in many they aren't). They weren't the type of weapons that a person can get at their local FFL or order from Gun Genie.

I wonder when and where the next mass shooting will happen. Will the next shooter break this record? Its as if we are in some macabre version of the Olympics. All of us waiting to see How Bad Can It Get.

Yes, why don't we look Into what Australia has done in limiting gun violence? How about not allowing private citizens to own hollow points, armor piercing, or frangible rounds? Reduce the size of magazines. How about if your gun was stolen or lost and used in a crime you should be penalized for not ensuring it was better locked up?
Tell me something ammosexuals do you envision yourselves to be like john wick during a crisis?

I'd worry more about those that want gun control. They seem perfectly okay with shooting people as well.

Ban all machine guns.

But you're not getting my handgun. I'll rely on my own safety instead of relying on persons in power.
