Yes, the rates in the safest parts of US are on par with the AVERAGE rates in the majority of European countries. Those are averages over whole populations and areas good, bad, and in between. Do you understand that?
The US is as large as all of Europe. The safest parts of the US are FAR safer than the AVERAGE rates in most EU countries, the worst of your liberal cities are dragging the rest of the US down. How many EU countries have a murder rate of 0? Over half of the US does. Do you understand, or is this still beyond your grasp?

What you are actually saying is that half the US is pretty much empty. Does not however make it safe.
Alaska for instance is empty but has the 2nd highest crime rate and the 12th highest murder rate.
And I do not believe any state has a 0 murder rate. Nor are there any counties with reasonable populations that have 0 murders over a decade. If you have a county with less than a thousand people they may well go a couple of years without a murder. But if you collect data for enough time to have valid statistics they generally are not very good.
Actually I work at it real hard. I am not particularly a leftist. On some issues but on others not. But I like truth and do not mind seeking it.
That tends to be why I am not liked on the right. They go bananas over truth that does not support their views.
That leads to virtually any truth seeker being at odds with the right. Too bad - there is some truth their but buried in such pyramids of trash no one can get too it.
This is a DNC Vice Chair calling for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment. Liberals are feeling brave enough to be honest about there agenda.
It’s going to be very hard for @Democrats to argue that a sizable portion of their party does not want to repeal/ban/confiscate firearms in the midterms.
This is a liberal base issue.
