some interesting stats and graphs regarding gun violence in America vs other places.

IMO we need stricter gun laws. What we have right now isn't working and the amount of gun deaths is staggering.

We can thank the power of the NRA who sponsor so many republican lawmakers.

This is typical "inside the box" thinking. It's time to take the Red Pill and start understanding there's a whole lot of information that we'll never hear about from mainstream media outlets.

Guns are not the issue. The Swiss are well-armed, and they don't have anywhere near the amount of violence.

I think the real issue is how people are raised. The USA in general endorses treating their young like prisoners more than most other developed countries. People are raised that might makes right.

Cultivate that mentality, and don't be surprised if people grow up to be more violent here, or if they are unable to act right without having to be forced. It's what they're used to.

Nobody should be allowed to have weapons that make mass killings easy. You know, common sense laws.

Worked for Australia, can work here too.

Except in Switzerland, the mentally ill cannot own guns. Here they can.

And since when have the criminals ever obeyed gun laws? All more laws will do is create more victim-rich venues.

how about instead we deal with the REAL problem and that is criminals? guns are inanimate objects that can harm no one until there is a human agency involved, IE someone has to pull the trigger.

how many of the guns used in criminal attacks were gotten illegally? fact is most of them were.

and how many of these rampage killings were gang members shooting each other?

how many of these people are mentally defective that slipped through the system?

how many of these people could have been stopped early in their rampage if law abiding citizens had a firearm and the courage to use it?

when something like the las vegas shooting happens, the first thing people jump on is guns, and some demand more gun control. the person that did the shooting was known to police, so why was he not looked at a little more carefully? why was it possible for him to ship more than 500 rounds of ammunition to the hotel? why was he able to ship ten rifles, THAT HE MODIFIED for automatic fire to the hotel? apparently this is the kind of person that should have rang alarm bells when he checked into the hotel.

Who is Stephen Paddock, Las Vegas shooter?

so how was this guy, a convicted felon, able to get a hold of several firearms not to mention all the ammunition? and dont give me the garbage of not tough enough background checks, as if he went to a legit source to buy these guns, he would have been pegged immediately and refused the ability to purchase a firearm.
