And for those "where were these teachers when I was a kid" folk, imagine if it was a 25+ year old male teacher that did the same to an 11-year old girl.

Not so funny anymore huh?

A primary school teacher has been sentenced to five years in prison for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old pupil because she wanted to make the "chronically depressed" boy “happy”.

Katherine Gonzalez, 25, from Wisconsin in the US, was arrested on 5 March and charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 13.

Two things:

1. That is usually said when the student is 16 or 17.

She asserts that she was sexually assaulted in college. As an alleged sexual assault victim, why would she think assaulting the 11 year old boy would make him happy?

Agreed and, us dudes at age 16 usually think with our "head with no brain".

Needless to say: this "teacher" needs to be nailed by the legal system for being with an 11 YO kid, even if she was a female and he a male.
