Others have criticized the fact that the USS Comfort was not there. The truth is that the Comfort wasn't designed for relief efforts. It was designed for military combat support. It has no well decks for equipment, and cannot support the type and number of helicopters that are necessary for disaster relief. The ships that were stationed offshore have hospital facilities. The Comfort would have been of little use.
So, stop with the lies and quit using this disaster for your political purposes.
