At least this post makes sense in the context of the content in the OP. Good job!

I'm not sure why you are expecting this investigation to be complete - looking at the history of large-scale investigations, they have generally been measured on the scale of years, not months. There is no reason to assume that this investigation would be any different.

Especially considering the vast number of moving parts and people of interest. I think your expectations are a bit unrealistic.

So assuming they influenced the election significantly, that means that they got Trump elected by promoting Hillary Clinton.
The Russians have tried to interfere in our elections over many years. As we have done the same to other countries. No surprise there. But they didn't and cannot hack the voting machines, since they aren't online. And there is no evidence of collusion by trump. Trying to get dirt on your political opponent isn't collusion or illegal. Even hillary paid a foreign entity to make up a fake dossier (using crowdsource), which our own govt is basing an investigation of Trump on...now that's nuts.

No, not made up. The intelligence community has been warning the WH administration of increased Russian activity since 2012.

But how outraged can we be since the US is no stranger to influencing elections in other countries ?

I think the Trump dossier is fake or worse and the idea of Trump/Russia collusion in the campaign is made up. I've seen no credible evidence the dossier is accurate or of Trump/Russia collusion.

The biggest problem is that we have a President who does not acknowledge or give a damn about Russian interfering into our democracy. He treats it as a nothing burger, and feeds that to his flock.

Perhaps he doesn't acknowledge it because he knows he is knee deep in it himself, or at least some of his staff were. Bet he thinks if he doesn't mention it that it will go away.
