security tapes should be the property of the mandalay bay. since there won't be a trial i doubt the tapes will enter into public record. if i'm correct then the choice to release the tapes lies solely with mandalay bay who would prefer not to have any additional connection to this event.

There are actually quite a few things about the vegas shooting that do not add up, but unfortunately most people are too emotionally effected by this and literally cannot allow themselves to consider the govt may be behind some of these things. Its an actual mental disorder and has a name, they literally cannot entertain the notion that authority/ Govt could be involved in such things.

For a little perspective, consider what the US Govt did to the native americans not that long ago, now do any of you actually think a vegas style shooting would be beneath them, especially if it benefited them in some way? Cmon folks, common sense!

Video for Columbine wasn't released until 2003.

I guarantee there is video of him walking through the lobby and casino. It isn't being released right now due to the investigation.

Definitely sounds like conspiracy.

Not a conspiracy theorist, but I'd really like to see a video of him entering his hotel room with the stockpile of weapons and ammo.

I don't see the political gain for the government staging a mass shooting like this.

I just think this is very strange because there is 1000x more documented info about the Columbine shooters. And that was back in the 90s .... before there were many security cameras and before the digital Big Brother information age. Very strange.

I haven't read all the posts, but the answer could be as simple as the lone survivor. If all the above does not happen, a potential shooter is found out before hand. The photo might be hard to see since it obviously is dark forensic evidence.

Not all loners are crazy, but most crazies are loners. If they were happy socially adjusted people, they wouldn't want to mass murder people. They are anti-social--this is one of the reasons they do this. They are punishing society because they've been rejected, yadayada, or for a zillion other reasons they carry a chip about. Their family, school bullies, rejection by friends or lovers--just outcasts. Who knows why they are disaffected?

What is interesting is the difference between serial killers and mass murderers. Serial killers seem to blend in and have more relationships. Mass murderers or those who 'go postal' do not have any real social bonds. They are loners.

Well, a lot of these mass shootings are basically flashy suicides. Just people who want some quick revenge before killing themselves. So, not surprising they are mostly loners or depressed individuals.
