It's just that one notion I have about things like these and I'll try to present it here
From the idea of 911 as "inside job" to the idea of these last mass shootings as some kind of planted government action, I can understand that someone would want to do that - all kinds of scumbags occupy important positions. I can also understand that there are people evil enough not to lose sleep over such henious actions they plot or even do.
But here's the catch - someone had to make that decision, someone else has to authorize it, there needs to be a team of people working on it. So, it would always include more folks.
And now risk management question they ask themselves - what if we are uncovered, what is the worst that can happen to us. I think that it's here where it stops if it ever started. Cause we aren't talking about Muslim extremist who doesn't give a flying fig if he dies. I mean, A. is waiting with all those virgins, so if anything, there'll be a party.
Western folks don't think like that. They think what about me, what about my family. Even if they are scumbags, unless they are totally insane, they will contemplate the risk. I don't see any government employees taking this type of risk.
He was a gambler too. Maybe he was involved with mob ties, and everyone knows the mob's tentacles can reach as far as Capitol Hill. Maybe they were behind the incident to smear his name, and to teach others who are thinking of coming up short/ratting them out, a lesson what can happen to them.

so your theory is the mob, who were run out of las vegas by big business decades ago, killed paddock because he owed them money ( in which case they wouldn't recover their money ) then the hitman shot out the window of the hotel room and killed 60 people to send a "message" ( which would only work if it was common knowledge to all borrowing money that the mob did it ) and finally the hitman was able to leave the room/hotel/casino without anyone the wiser?
Well, a lot of these mass shootings are basically flashy suicides. Just people who want some quick revenge before killing themselves. So, not surprising they are mostly loners or depressed individuals.
I agree with this. Most all of us have the fear that we will not be remembered after we die. It was Freud's own fear and Becker covered this.
I don't know if this was a conspiracy theory or not. However, I think there are "contingency plans" for events like what happened in Vegas. For example, many people do not believe that Wayne Williams killed all those Children in Atlanta. Some people think that the Klan was involved and were attempting to foment a race war. Fomenting a race war or some other type of division to tear this nation apart is the goal of many racist and foreign adversaries. Russia was already busted fomenting division on the internet and has been predicting the break up of the US for some time now.
What I believe is that in order to prevent a very divisive and hence retaliatory event from metastasizing, I think that agencies within the government, that are likely clandestine, will have replacement killers. Think Lee Harvey Oswald. People that can be blamed for an event thereby preventing the desired division. Just think, hypothetically, if the killer in Vegas had been black? Can you imagine what that would have done to already strained race relations?
