ISIS is not a country or an army unit that can be "defeated".
Though the US military has increasingly deployed conventional ground forces in its fight against ISIS in recent months, to include US Army Rangers and US Marine artillerymen, neither were announced by the Department of Defense.

Hard to say. Regardless, we shouldn't be apart of it. If our publicly stated purpose for involving ourselves in foreign wars is in defense of democracy around the world, then we need to stick to it. Democarcy run or instituted by a foreign power is not a democracy.
I question why Obama did not take stronger action. Which side is he on?

But Obama brought us to the edge of Raqqa, and 9 months later TRump still has not managed to capture that one tiny weak city. I guess Trump just lacks the minerals.
