He says that during a photo op with military leaders. Why would a POTUS say such a thing? What purpose does it serve to throw out warning shots as a president, like a bully in the school yard?

The DOOFUS has no idea what a normal person's life and concerns are; he's without a clue and he'll die never having gotten a clue. He probably hasn't learned anything since he figured out how to do his hair that way. He's not a businessman; he's a ratings prossy like so many "celebrities" on TV.
So we are left wondering if NK will wake up to bombs raining down them or whether Tillerson or Kelly will be sent packing. Are we limited to one firing per Friday?

Maybe because when hard realities shatter unrealistic juvenile expectations. there are only two basic options:
Put your shoulder tar the wheel, or run and hide.. And the behavior of too many public figures has demonstrated that most of them are pushing the second (non-)"option".
I didn't vote for Trump; can't understand why more people can't see past his contradictory economic nonsense; but he remains light-years closer to a grasp of reason than the delusional collection of spoiled children who gathered to venerate the Clintons and their sycophants earlier this week.
