Then what the heck do you keep going on about the pink bow for? Get a grip, not everything is racist. Most people think of watermelon as being tasty, and maybe it was on sale. I'm still waiting on my list of different foods which can't be given to different races of people.

It doesn’t further the stereotype joke. It furthers the I’m clowning my new co-workers joke.
And I think he would have put the pink bow on a box of donuts. The bow was the joke. I don't think the watermelon was, I think it was just an oversight.

Because the bow was pink, which is unusual for a guy-to-guy gift. Is this difficult for you to follow?
