Trump never served in the military and applied for medical deferment to avoid the draft back then. He’s never been interested in this country nor the government except to find ways to avoid paying taxes. I think he had trouble with a toenail and got the medical deferment back in the mid 60’s. What a man!
I was wondering what that was. At first I thought it was a cell phone ringing, then maybe some jerk sounding off a car horn tune like the Dukes of Hazard.

Trump obviously was ignorant re the protocol (it wasn't intentional), but the lack of intentional disrespect doesn't wipe away the cluelessness, nor the hypocrisy. Put this scenario number three on a list of why Trump is the wrong messenger. He has the correct message about the flag, but he is the wrong messenger. As I have written in other threads, he is the wrong messenger for two reasons (in no particular order of importance):
1. He is a draft dodger.
2. Anyone who has engaged in the level of disrespect he has toward various wives shouldn't be schooling anyone else about respect.
