RAM is trying to fill the immense medical needs of Americans. We could use hundreds of RAM's or other entities like them to fill the void. Currently there a many, many people doing without.
Imagine what it's like to be in pain and no money for a doctor or medications. How would you feel if your child needed medical care and you could not provide it? Put yourself in the shoes of someone with a severe toothache.
Here is an example of how the business people handle it. They see the need for a quick loan for dental or medical services for those uninsured but working. They create loan companies that loan money to the poor at interest rates that are nothing more than thievery. i.e., they loan a small about of cash for a car title for about 30% interest for the first month. Should there be any delay that interest will explode to 1000% interest and/or the loss of the vehicle. These type of loans are targeted at the working poor.

The poor and the rich are taken care of. It's the middle class that always gets squeezed, which is why we need tax reform and repeal and replace Obamacare. Although now that Trump wrote his EO that will make it easier for more people to get decent health care until the Senate gets off their fat, lazy arses and passes a bill. Repeal and replace incumbents in 2018!
If that were true, everyone else wouldn't have to be taxed to meet their needs.
Not true. The Fed Gov actually does have legitimate purposes: Constitutionally mandated responsibilities.
I'm going to explain to you again WHY the US has so many poor...
48% of all US births are paid by Medicaid. And 43% of CHIP/Medicaid free health care for the poor enrollees are under age 18. Completely unreasonable in a country in which the poverty rate is only 13.5%.
What started out as a humanitarian effort to ease hardship, has turned into a system that actually encourages and rewards irresponsibility. That is a completely unsustainable problem.
Weighted by people, sure, but weighted by dollars is what drives cost. Pediatrician visits, common antibiotics and shots, and one or two stitches or broken bones over a couple decades are cheap. On the other hand, keeping a premature underweight baby alive is hugely costly. For CHIP at least most people in the program can be covered at a low cost. Once you decide to cover the extreme cases extending to everyone else doesn't cost that much more per person covered.
So what now? When someone goes to seek health care they just get turned away to go home and die? If they are treated at a health care facility we pay through either a government reimbursement to the facility or through higher medical costs.
Do we take on the third work option of not allowing people to leave the hospital till their bill is paid?
I hear lots of stuff you don't like..be honest, what is your option? If it's just let them die, please have the guts to come right out and say it. Not my problem equals the same thing.
Treat the cause. Stop government from partaking in the economy. When they get involved they create booms and busts. When the economy goes south more people are on welfare. We have medicaid but with so many on government assistance because the jobs that came back are low paying, that is beoming a very expensive option.
Another problem is Americans are unhealthy. How about we the people quit eating everything that isn't nailed down?

48% of all US births are paid by Medicaid. 43% of CHIP/Medicaid enrollees are under age 18. They're by far the highest percentage group in CHIP/Medicaid. The average cost for enrollees' benefits is $7,500/year. It's not low cost. At all
