I think it will be interesting in the future with the massive amounts of homelessness, foreign travel, 19th century overcrowding and massive hordes of people when there are huge outbreaks in the future.,

California declares state of emergency over deadly hepatitis A outbreak - LA Times

California is under a state of emergency because they have a tremendous homeless issue with people having no choice but to poop and pee in the streets.

Public bathroom's are few and far between in California as people will cause massive biohazardous waste situation for food service employees making the situation worse.

Also, there are thousands of flights back from third-world countries brewing with terrible disease daily flying back into American cities with only god knows what viruses in their hands and shoes.

There is massive, massive overcrowding with families in these big, huge liberal cities sharing small apartments and sending their children to schools with overcrowded classrooms where these viruses spread like crazy.

Nearly 1,000 sick with norovirus at 32 schools in northern California's Yolo County - ABC News

I guess according to the liberals what can go wrong with thousands of planes coming into each city from third-world countries. Crowded buses, trains and streets filled with a wide variety of viruses from all the world. Massive homeless populations the size of medium sized cities with people who have no access to clean themselves. Of course, liberal cities have lots of overcrowded classrooms and apartment buildings also with bad HVAC sytems.

Article on tremendous overcrowding in LA, with children packed like sardines in schools in Los Angeles.

Massive overcrowding in apartment buildings in Southern California from high rents, families are packing as many as possible into small apartments in big apartment buildings.

Instead of constantly complaining about big, liberal cities, why don't you suggest some solutions?

One trick ponies get old after a while, even at the circus.

This seems to be hopeful thinking on your part.

The OP sounds like a right winger’s wet dream where the Lord smites them lib’rul blue states for their evil ways with plague.

There’s that one and the other one where there’s a race war and the gun nuts get to kill blacks with their private arsenal.

What fun.

Call me crazy, but I don’t think diseases have any political affiliation.

When disease stems from public policy choices, of course there is political tie-in. Just take lung cancer and the debate over tobacco legislation and lawsuits in the 1990's. It was as political as any issue you can name.

Actually, there is no need for a race war among the "gun nuts". The blacks in urban liberal cesspools are dangerous enough to their own race. Why would white gun nuts want to interfere with the inevitable? Have Chicago and Baltimore combined for more than 1,000 murders this year yet? Gotta be close to that number...

Lack of vaccinations is also a big cause of this, but you don't mention that. Maybe because Trump has embraced the anti-vax movement despite it being concentrated in liberal cities?
