Nonsense Waldo.

We have been over this time and time again.

so here are the FACTS

1 the 2016 polls were within margin of error and had an absolute error rate lower than than 2012. Any denial is a lie because it is now a matter of historical fact. Fully documented.

2 Hillary won the popular vote with close to 3 million MORE americans voting for her. again this is a checkable fact.

so next time you deflect, just remember everyone reading these forums knows you are wrong. even the trumpets even the alts.

rubbish waldo , you are still in denial, but that is good, it allows me to respond and point out to others that the 2016 was indeed a normal set of polls, and was closer than 2012....

it allows me to remind folk that hillary had more votes and that Trump is a minority potus.

i allows me remind folk that Trump got lucky and barely squeaked through his win by tiny margins...

Trump thought he would lose, his team thought he would lose and we know this because as soon as he won he dumped Christy from heading up his transition team.. why? well he never thought he would need so he had given it to christy as a bone.

trump got lucky, but so did the dems, Hillary with Ryan and Mitch controlling things would have been a poop show. It would have been 2-4 years of shouting and lying from the right

now with all 3 branches you guys are fighting with each other, because the right does not know how to govern. Not trump, not ryan not mitch.

Juan Williams is employed by Fox News to represent the left, and so everything he says needs to be in opposition to Trump.
So its strange seeing a thread about Juan, as if its some revelation than Juan is criticizing Trump's presidency.....
Juan would be fired if he started saying nice things about Trump.
Its not an 'analysis', its just Juan doing the only thing he knows, hate on the President.
Anyway, approval ratings are completely irrelevant.
Trump's Gallup rating is 39%.
Obama's Gallup rating in 2011 was 40%, and he won in 2012.
Obama's Gallup rating was also 40% in 2013 and 2014-
2011 Aug 8-14: 40%
2011 Aug 15-21: 40%
2011 Aug 22-28: 40%
2011 Sep 12-18: 40%
2011 Oct 3-9: 40%
2013 Nov 18-24: 40%
2013 Dec 16-22: 40%
2014 Jan 13-19: 40%
2014 Feb 10-16: 40%

CNN does the same thing, as does MSNBC but not as much.

they hire someone for the viewers to hate on, and to provide the foil for the stations position.

Mostly they hire folk who are willing to say things that are inflammatory and/or easy to disprove.

But to be clear, Rupert is not mercer and may decide to go with the Rs over the Trump's... afterall FOX wants to retain viewers AFTER trump has moved on ....

having said, that we are amost 10 months into Trump's term and he has failed to pass any major new policy and has become the first POTUS in modern history to see his first major bill fail. No other POTUS has failed like this in modern history. Not my opinion, just a fact. No other POTUS left or Right has failed to pass their first big bill, it just does not happen. But Trump failed to sell it to congress or the public. In fact about 80% of the public has said "NO!" to repeal and replace and instead they would like Trump to just fix it....

That may have been true for the most part in the primaries, but most of the money spent in the general election was from donors.

He is, quite literally beholding to other big donors, and his actions have shown that they are likely to get their payoffs.

I don't quite blame him or them. Since the Citizens United ruling big money stalks our political process, and even Trump would not have been able to win without the dark money.

However, the myth that he was self funded is still current and circulating, I see. If he truly was self funded (and beholding to no one) that would be a different story and a seemingly selfless act which people might believe to be generous, but he stopped making that claim (for good reason) before the campaign was over.

If he succeeds in only one thing, the elimination of the estate tax, the campaign expenses will come right back to him (his children, I guess) many times over. It is the ultimate gift.

He spent 65 million $$ on his own campaign, which is a lot, but the total campaign was 322 million $$, so Trump has a number of big donors to answer to. He will happily comply, since his goals are the same as the big donors, he is one of their own, wallowing in the same mud hole together.

The donations from others to the campaign are money well invested, the repeal of the estate tax alone will cover that bet, and the new tax structure for the wealthy will dwarf it almost immediately.
