One cannot objectively say that Trump's time in office has been a success. His approval ratings are low, he has a very poor relationship with Congress, he has no major accomplishments and he is dogged by an FBI investigation. The link below leads to an analysis by Juan Williams.

Fox News is just doing what it does, protecting the GOP brand image. They are going to try to put an increasing amount of distance between Trump's failures and the Republican Party.
