Having read the article I understand what he is doing and why but to many this action is in poor taste.

I'm divided on this because to me a bump stock is a waste of expensive bullets. You hear from people that own them and they are just another add on that isn't needed but wanted much like an upgrade to a stereo system in a new car but until they are banned people have the right to own them.

I agree with the FBI in the article when they said that the bump stock the shooter used probably saved lives because he couldn't aim very well when he was using it. Still the sound of near automatic gun fire is enough to send a wave of terror through anyone on the wrong end of it.

I think what this guy is doing is in poor taste.

Well, part of the 2nd amendment was to ensure the people always had access to the same grade firepower as the govt authority at any given time too, this was their best defense against tyranny taking over, that way, the people could stand a chance of removing such govt from power.

What would happen today if the people needed to rise up and throw off this govt? I doubt the campaign would last very long!! Oddly though, they have brainwashed so many people into thinking this is actually a good thing, that military and LE should ONLY have access to 'certain' weapons? Gee I wonder how that ever happened? LOL

The best way to appeal to crazies is to double down on your craziness.

This may be the one example where the people actually get what a candidate promises.

Yeah, the shootings in Las Vegas "broke his heart," but he's going to take advantage of the bump stock debate as a cheap political stunt. This guy's picture is in the dictionary, next to the word "tacky."
