Time for congress to remove this so-called judge and remove the lower courts' jurisdiction on this issue. It has been settled by SCOTUS.

This is what I mean about leftist loony bin judges and why I have so little respect for them. This "judge" claims that the most recent travel ban suffers from the same infirmities that the previous bans suffered from, which is why he blocked it. However, such a rational is pure BS and utter nonsense, if only for no other reason than the SUPREME COURT reversed the majority of this judge's rulings on the travel bans, allowing the bulk of the ban to go into place. But this "judge," a leftist activist with clearly no regard for Supreme Court precedent and direction, wants to walk to his own beat. This is precisely why I voted for President Trump, as we couldn't afford a President Clinton putting additional loons like this "judge" on the bench.

Ah, we have another live one. Respect for the rule of law, Constitution, and Supreme Court precedent be damned because you don't like President Trump? I relish the day (should be within the next 24-36 hrs) when the Supreme Court overturns this loony judge (AGAIN).

And I look forward to the day when people realize that our biggest issues don't come from some middle-eastern country but rather US citizens with their guns.

Irrelevant to the conversation at hand. In any event, Americans have the right to own a gun and to live in this great country. Foreigners (and the new list of restricted countries also includes North Korea and Venezuela) have no right of entry into the USA.

No, pretty relevant to the conversation at hand.

Let's just start banning everybody, because why not? We don't need foreigners because you're trying to MAGA, right? Let's ban North Koreans because our orange turd is getting his panties in a bunch (when the reality is that no one from North Korea would be traveling to the US anyways, unless they escaped)

This travel ban is to prevent terrorism, right? If so, why have the majority of terrorist attacks or mass shootings in the US been caused by American citizens or those with green cards? Or if you're going back to 9/11, why not ban Saudi Arabia who was funding terrorist organizations?

You STILL don't get it. Firstly, threats posed to safety by guns owned by Americans is irrelevant to the conversation at hand because the conversation is about a "judge" in Hawaii who blocked President Trump's most recent travel initiative. The conversation is NOT about addressing all threats to U.S. society, etc. First fail.

And this travel ban is intended to prevent persons from countries who won't cooperate with U.S. authorities on certain screening requirements from entering into the U.S. due to potential national security issues. As I asked someone before: do you make it easier or harder for people who may not wish this country well to get into this country? Its a no brainer. These policies will save lives and have saved lives. I'm happy to discuss gun politics with you, but this thread is not for that topic. Let's stay on topic.
