Simple Question: Would an American-Israeli attack on Iran be successful? (regime, extremist)

In that case I don't believe an attack would be successful. Destroying their nuclear program would likely require a long, bloody occupation and our our record of creating beneficial regime change is far from stellar. We need to make our own defenses impregnable and stop our meddling throughout the world that returns little for the price.

Sounds more like we know some Americans will happily place Israel's interests ahead of America's interests. And no, they're not necessarily the same thing.

The OP is correct in saying "No one will admit that they want war, but it sure looks to me like many folks do."

In terms of winning a war against Iran - short of nukes, this is largely impossible. The Soviets are on the Iranian side and likely a lot of the Iraqis and others will be. This is a large and developed country - not like Iraq (which we lost anyway)......

Trump and his admin are showing their real colors and these have nothing to do with democracy, human rights, peace, freedom and that silly stuff. It's about war machines and increasing sales....and being a bully and a hawk trying to tell the world what to do.

And Putin and his admin is no different either. Syria is both their playgrounds. No one is attacking Lebanon for supplying fighters and no one is attacking Iran for supplying armaments.

I saw nothing in the first post to indicate that it is anti-Israeli. Before our attack on Iraq, Netanyahu proclaimed himself a Middle East expert and told the American Congress that an American attack on Iraq would have no downside. The resulting instability is more than obvious. A couple of years ago he came before Congress again and requested backing for an attack on Iran. This time we didn't buy it.

As an intelligent man you must know that North Korea would take full advantage of what would become another American war in the Middle East. I request that you stop thinking as an Israeli an start thinking like an American.

There's no requirement for America to enter an arena for no other reason than Russia having done so.
