Cuba got hit real hard but it siure doesn't seem like it hurt so much from what I'm gathering. Not a single source I've used is Cuban or US media either.

They've done a damn good job so far.

Exactly.

The Cuban leadership looks like the well oiled A Team while our leadership looks like headless chickens in search of a clue.

But somehow this qualifies as "winning" in the alternative facts universe.

Simple logic, give it a try.

If we had the same preparation, execution, and dedication that the Cubans had; you wouldn't have to make this excuses now. Because the recovery would have been well under way.

Your reading comprehension is lacking. I imagine your life experience is the same hence your simplistic and vastly biased notions of things.

Later on you'll understand the world better......one hopes.

Democratic Socialism is probably FAR superior to the colonialism and virtual slavery many of our colonies have been subject to. Puerto Rico is for the hotels, gamblers, low wage workers and other similar situations as we had with Cuba formerly.

It is NOT a place where the US Government tries to raise the living standard as high as possible.

When someone loses an argument, they usually go into attack mode.

It curious you said my reading comprehension is lacking, but not my logical reasoning. When it was your logic that I was attacking. But ok.

PR has chosen poorly when electing the lawmakers.

Cuba endorses the words of nancy pelosi, 'we have to pass it to find out what is in it.' the castros could not have said it better.

Wrong again. When someone hasn't lived much of life yet or been to countries like Cuba they are, naturally, operating from a place of how they imagine things are; rather than having experienced how they are and then coming to realize that there is often a mountain of difference.

It is simply an exercise in futility trying to reason with someone who understands little but, insists that they do.

Take a trip to Cuba, or most other 3rd world countries, and tell us what you learned that was different than what you had imagined. Seriously, I'd be interested to hear.

Cuba was hit by cat 5. And it dragged along the island for a very very long time. Actually, that made all the difference in Florida, where the outcome was not as bad as expected. Got it?
