As I've already said, if Trump accelerates America's decline more than other candidates would've, that could be a good thing in the long run. To give an analogy, if your relative is a drug addict, you'd want them to hit rock bottom quickly rather than slowly over many years, because the rock bottom won't be as bad and they'll get clean sooner.

I honestly have trouble understanding this phenomenon. It's very scary.
There is a segment out there that isn't pro anything constructive they're just anti intellectualism and anti liberalism for example, they're pretty much losers and they know it, so they're out to complicate things. That's what white trash does.

Correct, it ended over eight years ago.

Trump is basically in power because he was the least unpopular of the two candidates and there are a lot of people, even Democrats that didn't like Hillary Clinton.
It's true that Trump faced a very weak opponent last time....whether or not he will the next time is anybody's guess.

America is so ideologically divided nowadays that it would be hard to construct a platform that more than 50% of people will vote for and impossible to construct a platform that more than 60% of people will vote for. The days of 50-state landslides like Reagan and Nixon had are over.

Time to split up the US. There is no good argument to keep the US as 50 states.

I don't care if The Wall is a waste of money; our country is going bankrupt anyways and we might as well watching the Star Wars Cantina of modern liberals get outraged for the next 8 years.
And people get p.ssed off at athletes not standing for the anthem.

That, right there, is what contempt for one's country looks like.

I honestly don't believe the US will ever recover from this disaster. It truly is the end of the American experiment.
