Just 37 percent of voters think the media do not fabricate stories, the poll shows, while the remaining 17 percent are undecided.

More than three-quarters of Republican voters, 76 percent, think the news media invent stories about Trump and his administration, compared with only 11 percent who don’t think so. Among Democrats, one-in-five think the media make up stories, but a 65 percent majority think they do not. Forty-four percent of independent voters think the media make up stories about Trump, and 31 percent think they do not.

Of course the media makes up stories about Trump. Take the whole narrative about "Russian collusion" for starters. The media has long lied and the reason for that is that it is the propaganda wing of the DNC. Another good one was that a YouTube video caused a preplanned terrorist attack. Only a complete imbecile could have bought that whopper, yet there were thousands of posts from our friends on the left supporting that laughable lie.

With a never-ending faux pas that fly out of Trump's mouth daily, there's plenty of truth to comment on! You can't make this stuff up!

Oh please quit drinking the kool aid. When the only news programs people watch are Fox what do you expect? God forbid Fox says something bad about the liar in chief. They are his best friends. Trump is no angel. Watch some different news for a change. Trump is the biggest blowhard we've ever had in office. The man can never accept blame. He won't apologize, he acts like a spiteful little child most of the time. What is so good about this moron?

Gee, Republican and Trump voters buy into the false narrative about the media. Shocker!

Too bad these Repubs and Trumpers are so brainwashed by Trump that they cannot not see that they are being conned and misled by Trump and his ilk.

That is the true meaning of the poll. Repubs are such sad shape that they have given up critical thinking in support of Trump.

Dollars to doughnuts more than 46% think Trump makes up stories, and they're absolutely correct!

LOL.

NOTICE HOW THE OP avoided the site that conducted the poll...

Why would op do that?

Well Politico points out that Rs believe stories are made up... Ds believe stories are real....

So of course OP went with the site that spun the story in a more ANTI media way.

Poll: 46 percent think media make up stories about Trump - POLITICO

Quote:

Among the voters who strongly approve of Trump’s job performance in the poll, 85 percent believe the media fabricate stories about the president and his administration.

I wonder why OP leaves that quote out????

Those who get their news from FOX are no better informed than my goldfish as confirmed by the University of Maryland and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
