I think all of that is for show, they’ll work with anyone that will benefit them, inside or out.
All gangs do that out of necessity on the inside until it becomes detrimental to the face of the gang as a whole. There are groups that will never work together. And working out drug, prostitution, or other activities is certainly not done out of any love or respect for another group. Hispanics gangs are much more militant and don't have pacts unless it is an extreme situation and I don't think I would trust them even then.

From what I’ve seen (anecdotal I know), on the inside, there’s only one color, green. You can play up EME or AB or whatever, they’ll deal, and even on the outside, people will still have to deal with those outside of their gang/color, especially when it comes to narcotics trafficking in the Southwest. The racial aspect is just a recruiting tool.

Personally I liked the guy that hugged the Nazi. He has courage and seems like a wonderful person. We need more reasonable people like him on all sides.

He very clearly implied that the hated has to lead by example, else they end up becoming just like the hater. I simply asked why is it always the hated that has to lead by example. Should women lead by example and start hugging rapists and asking "why do you rape me" to start a positive dialog? The rapist is simply troubled and all he needs is a little kindness right? If the answer is yes, then I'm ok with black people hugging nazis.

That's why you cannot expect them to rise above and lead by example. They're irrational. Haters who commit crimes against others go beyond irrationality into the sick and twisted realm.
