Watch Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace later today when it's posted on youtube. Trey Gowdy, who likes Mueller by the way (guess he didn't hear about the Uranium One coverup by the FBI) said that anyone who expects Manafort to flip against Trump will be disappointed. This case will turn on documents and hard evidence.

My bet is on the Podesta brothers and Manafort since they worked together years before the Trump campaign. Probably financial crimes since the Podestas lobbying firm is the biggest Dem operated one in DC.

Some Trump worshippers were obsessed with Hillary being punished no matter what and truth and facts weren't important. As truth and facts were released then, they argued that it was "fixed" and they still wanted her punished. All those chants of "Lock her up, Lock her up.". They didn't even care why, they just wanted her punished. They are back to this again with false hope of some old Uranium Russia conspiracy theory. There are many that are salivating at the mere thought of another thread of hope of her getting locked up.

Lefties aren't like that though. Lefties want truth and facts. And that's why lefties don't want to squash the Mueller investigation. Some die-hard Trump worshipers are trying to stop the Mueller investigation because they are afraid of the truth and facts.
Both the democrats and republicans are hypocrites on this, one of the many reasons I am neither. Democrats want Trump punished as does the GOP wanting Clinton punished. But they both think their golden goose is undeserving of any punishment.

So perhaps you should come off your high horse and face the reality you are just like the republicans.

Unfortunately TDS runs very, very deep with many on here... Those with serious TDS are very easy to spot, they can't help but call Trump names and use the common echo chamber insults with every post instead of actually forming their own thoughts and words.
You're 1000% right. Those with TDS are very easy to spot. They're the deplorable ones that mindlessly worship/defend this idiot, lying, racist, criminal, traitorous scumbag at every turn.

What would Democrats have to gain by getting in the way of this Republican train wreck?

No if you look at everything from late night talk shows, SNL, ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN, the major newspapers etc. Its a non stop onslaught pushing everything they can at Trump hoping he gets the boot.

If the left wanted him to stick around they would shut up and say nothing and let the chips fall where they may.

Trump definitely wants to fire him and is trying to make it so he can do that. But it would be all out war at that point.
Pretty much this. The only "leaks" from "Muller's Team" has been noting who has been coming and going from the courthouse, witnesses themselves that said they spoke with Muller's team and speculation by the media based on those observations and by who Muller has hired on his team. There have been no Devin Nunes staged, sneaky-type press conferences.

If Trump is impeached - it will be because Republicans impeach him. Not because of Democrats.

They aren't the only lefties. There are others - millions - that don't all agree in lockstep of each other.

You are painting all lefties and all righties with a broad brush as if they all agree on the exact same issues 100% of the time. The truth is, they don't. They vary in beliefs and ideology. Some righties and some lefties actually support some things that the opposite party is known for. In fact, a lot of them are much like an independent on many issues but choose to be associated with a party for various reasons.

All righties don't want to see Clinton punished regardless of facts and all lefties don't want to see Trump punished regardless of facts.

And many lefties are perfectly happy with Trump in place as-is rather than having Pence in place as an alternative. It's obvious Trump has stalled the GOP agenda, so why would lefties want to bring in someone that's more likely to make progress on the GOP agenda.

They hope to sell the idea of "elect Democrats and we promise we will Impeach Trump".
That may work with the kiddos, but not with anyone with a brain - even Pelosi put a stop to that Impeach stuff in the 2006 mid terms. It's a sure bet that it won't win them an election Nationwide.
