This is simply Round One of indictments against Manafort; eventually he will be indicted for Russian involvement.
Manafort and his business partner, Rick Gates, are being charged. Has NOTHING to do with Trump's campaign. They are being charged with crimes allegedly committed years before Manafort's involvement with Trump.

The charges have to do with the kickbacks, etc., Manafort and Gates received from Russians. Just like the Clintons got a $100+ million kickback from Russians for the Uranium One deal.

It is so predictable. It is going to be more like money laundering. I am pretty sure that Clinton campaign lawyer/Fusion is also going down on money laundering eventually.
There's been no indication that the indictment includes any of Manafort's actions on behalf of Trump's campaign. They're all related to events that occurred years before that. Approximately the same time frame in which the Clintons got the $100+ million kickback from Russians for the Uranium One deal.
