Yep, the artist and the festival were wrong. Point blank, if I were at a festival, and someone told me to give up my space at the front for another race, or even for the fan of another band, I'd tell them to ****-off.

I was fully wrong, and you guys are right on this one. It's racist, and yes, if the shoe were on the other foot, it would have been blown WAY up.

I still stand my my comment though that FAILING to object to overt racism is called "overt racism", and you all have strengthened the argument that Trump's response (or non-response) to Charlottesville was racist, or overtly racist.

But to be clear, because I hate deflection, Trump does not excuse what happened here. It was wrong, and I humbly stand corrected. (See, it's not that hard to admit when you're wrong.)

If your account is correct, then obviously my response needs to be adjusted.

Canada is lost? Give me a freakin break. Be more of a drama queen. It was one singer who always asks all the brown girls to come to the front. Jesus.

The whole festival, tax payer funded, apologized, not because of the racist artist but because of the anti-racist who refused to accept racist segregation.

Please dont defend this. Imagine if an artist told black people to go to the back and when one black person refused, that black person would be labeled a racist. Its beyond insane.

I defended it? Nah, I pointed out the facts & called out the poster claiming Canada is lost because of this incident. That's ridiculous & overly dramatic, period.

If that person wanted to move to the back, it is his/her choice.

Actually it was the music festival itself kicking the white girl out of the venue for not moving to the back when ordered, then surreally posting an apology for her racist actions instead of theirs. It's also the National Post choosing quotes to spin the incident as if white-girl Rosa Parks was totally in the wrong and the organizers did the reasonable thing.

No, no, you're supposed to mock conservatives for not caring about anything that happens outside the USA. You guys can't get anything right in this thread.
