Facts aren't "bashing." By not acknowledging and addressing the facts, you're exacerbating the problem. Just like a good little Dem; doing what you're told... Keeping poor people poor and therefore voting Dem, so Dems can keep some semblance of political power.

And? that disparity between white and black single mothers were pretty much the same in the 50's and 60's.

(same can be said of whites as well - they have more single parents and also haven't gotten worse in any socio-economic factors so I always wonder why you all believe this stuff is true when it doesn't show up in reality).

I have my life set up for myself and my children. I am not desperate or struggling. I agree certain life choices lead to poverty. I also agree that there are financial benefits to marriage.

I've never been called any names by any other black people for having the thoughts I stated above. Whites often stereotype blacks and put us all in a box of dysfunction and call us way more names than any black person.

I think overall, marriage is just not as valued. Whites are not getting married at the level that they once did either. Divorce rate in general is relatively high.

It's the excessive use of government aide and the requirement that a man not be in the house that ****ed up the black family.
