Disney isn't remotely "liberal". Just because someone isn't an alt-right, fact-averse Trump cultist doesn't mean they're "liberal".
They just have common sense, education and aren't living in the stone age. Normal people think that gays are human beings, immigrants are human beings, etc. This isn't some "radical" view.
I talked to someone who was a child actor in the 1950s.

He refused, and the solicitor alerted the casting company that was used.
Because of that, the youth's resume now included the code word "Uncooperative".
Breaking News!
Creative and Imaginative people are usually liberal. By a BIG margin. Go visit Silicon Valley or NYC where the new companies are happening. Liberal Liberal Liberal.

Roy Disney, Walt's brother took over after Walt died. After Roy died in '71 there were two other CEOs before Miller took over in the late Seventies. The company probably would not have survived if Eisner took over. But the liberalization begain under Miller, it just ramped up further under Eisner.

Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, is a very prominent liberal Dem activist.
