Deutsche Bank, found guilty and fined for laundering billions of ill-gotten Russian money, has funneled millions of dollars Trump's way. Not only through loans, but through the private investor arm of the bank.

Then there are the Russian investors, such as the one who paid Trump an outrageous amount for a mansion in Florida that he demolished a few years later and sold off for a fraction of what he paid.

Why Clovis backed the Russian invasion of Crimea is anybody's guess.

But I'm guessing there was some money involved.

It is sad that lack of the necessary credentials for the job did not matter to Clovis or Trump and his administration. This had no effect on his withdrawl. He is not going forward ONLY because of his involvement in the Mueller investigation. His connection to that could further embarrass Trump. They were not the least bit embarrassed by the fact that an unqualified person was nominated for a government job.
The best people, folks. Believe me.

This appointment was a joke in the first place, a non scientist for a scientific job? In addition, "porky" Clovis was just another swamp creature to fill up the swamp, that the fat man and Dotard In Chief, keeps promising to drain!
