What good would guns do if they were on the streets? That's a pretty irresponsible place to leave them. They'll get run over goofy...

Everyone on my block owns and carries, I either bump into them at the range or at competitions... been here 2 years 3 months and 0 shootings. Coincidence?

Now what would that accomplish spraying rounds into the pews?

Beings I have no kids, I was a kid. Shot my first gun, my father's 22 pistol when I was 5. 30 now. No negligent discharges. But yes you better believe I'm going to give my child/children guns and teach them the importance of safety and marksmanship. That way they don't have any allure or want to do something heinous/stupid.
Isn't that what you want? Responsible gun owners?

What is conkers? And how would they get practice if they blew each other's brains out? I think you forgot your meds today...

I don't carry pistols in my pocket. Bad place to keep pistols.
I carry a full size 45 1911 and Glock 19 both in my waistband. Rifle. I keep that in the truck. Good luck if you can find it. I'll give you $10k if you could get it out of where it's locked and hidden and firing.
It's missing something crucial in order to fire... only I know where that something is.

15k+ shot? I don't count suicides. Highest number shot I've seen is 9,616 in 2015.
It's the laws that don't keep us safe. Like the strictest cities for gun ownership, have the highest homicide rate with firearms comissioned.
We have gun free zones and we have slimy prosecutors who think it's okay to sue and charge you with a crime if you use your weapon in self defense.

Where are you from by the way?

They told me this wouldn’t happen in gun friendly states, because an armed citizen would take out the mass shooter first.

No facts yet but that doesn't stop you people from speculating.

We don't know who the shooter was.
We don't know what type of firearm was used.
We don't know any of the circumstances.

Why don't we wait for some facts?

Next mass shooting in 3,2,1.
You realize that gun ownership used to be even more widespread don't you, and guns were readily available to anyone who wanted one without today's restrictions, yet we didn't have mass shootings like we do now. Something has gone wrong with society and unless society is ready to talk about everything that may be contributing to the problem, it will never be solved.

Has raising a generation of kids with violent video games contributed to it? Has drugging up school kids and adolescents rather than address their behavior problems contributed to it? Has the disintegration of the family and raising kids with general dysfunction contributed to it? I don't know what the problem is, but it is certainly more than just the presence of guns.

No one does, my frame allows me to carry a good sized weapon concealed quite well. No printing, cardio helps for that.

The saddest thing is nothing is going to change.

The fools that believe they could of taken out the shooter, are just that, fools.

The people that believe that being armed in a free country is normal, when you are the outliers on that.

The fact that these people believe that they NEED to be armed is not point in your favour regarding the society you have built.

The silly argument about gun free zones, when we all know, gun free zones mean NOTHING when you can walk armed from one to the other.
