Europe isn't a country.

If you don't even know that....

You believe, and are wrong, that laws prevent anti-social behavior. If laws did that, homicide laws would prevent homocides. They don't.
So we don't need any gun laws because they are not perfectly effective, imagine what society would look like if we removed all laws. Yes some people will always defy laws but I only hear this concern come up relative to gun laws, never heard people propose removing speed limits. Maybe we should just allow Fentanyl to flood the market since our drug laws don't change behavior.

Why would anyone who is sane and intelligent want to live in a society where a simple confrontation could turn deadly at any minute. An armed society isn't a polite society, its a society oozing with fear of violence. Where the biggest psychopaths do as they wish because everyone else doesn't want to risk dying for speaking up.

What is the purpose of a gun law? What do you want to prevent by having them?

To absolutely no one's surprise if they've read through this thread.

Between federal and state, we have over 20k gun laws in existence as it stands. None of them apparently can stop violence, so what will make the next few added to that already massive amount?
