I'm as flag-waving a conservative as you can find, and I'm perfectly OK with kneeling during the anthem. I also think that folks are free to burn the flag, if that's your form of protest (and it's your flag).

I think that folks are free to stay away from the NFL as a response to the players kneeling during the anthem.

I think that businesses free to discipline an employee (such as a ball player) if their actions cause harm to the business.

I think that businesses are entitled to prohibit an employee from an action they feel detrimental to the business while they are working.
