We are all outraged about this preventable gun sale to monster!

Liberals call for gun control and clearly as Obama was in power during 2012-2014 the mishandling and failure to inform FBI of the status of this monster, caused this monster get a legal gun!

Liberals call for stricter laws and in not personally blaming Obama but clearly the failure happened under Obama so I'm not holding my breath waiting for Obama and his government officials to apologize for the mishandling during his time in office!

Very costly failure! Liberals when are you asking answers from your own side when failures are proven under liberal leadership or are you keep blaming the one who is not at fault!

This last shooting wasn't about lack of gun control; it was about the failure of the Air Force to report the perp's criminal history to the proper entities. Had they done that, as is required by Federal law, he would have been prevented from legally buying a weapon.

Anyone who has been paying attention knows that by now. The purpose of this thread is to blame the sorry fact that this happened, whether it was deliberate or a clerical error, on President Obama and liberals in general. That seems a bit absurd to me, but then, I think the OP would blame the liberals for the fact that he or she didn't get a pony for Christmas last year, too.

You missed the point. The law is in place, and has been for years. The Air Force did not report the felony conviction and Bad Conduct Discharge to the proper authorities, so when the perpetrator LIED on the background check form (a felony, by the way), there was no information on file to stop the sale!
The perpetrator (not "suspect") PASSED the background check due to the lack of reporting, and was allowed to purchase the gun.
THAT is the point. the "system" FAILED, and the "common sense gun control law" did absolutely no good.
And yes, the FAILURE occurred under OBAMA'S watch. HE was CIC at the time!

Every proposal Obama tried to push through to introduce common sense gun laws was BLOCKED by REPUBLICANS.

You, me and everybody else on this earth KNOWS that trying to pin this on Obama or liberals now is probably one of the most ridiculous statement ever made.
You have to have a special kind of self deception going on in your own brain to try to pin this on liberals.

EDIT:

And by the way, this shooting happened under Trumps watch. And he's not going to do anything about it either.

So next time there is a mass shooting. Which of course there will be, because this is America, come back and tell me whose fault it is.

To use the same excuse, and yes actual fact of the matter, that the right would use if it happened under Trump, the President is not responsible for the day to day doings within each agency except at a very high level. Period
Blaming, Obama, Trump or any other President, for these sorts mistakes made is just Ludicrous. I would venture to guess that someone's career in the Air Force just came to a screeching halt and stronger policies will be implemented, as they obviously need to be.

No one knows if the failure to report is limited to the AF or other branches of the military.

No one knows if this was a one off human error or common across all branches.

Why does each branch maintain their own judicial records?

Why do more than 3000 counties maintain their own judicial records?

A couple of Lean Six Sigma Black Belts could easily create one national system for ALL judicial records and in doing so standardize information, eliminate redundancies and loopholes and associated costs.

Look, someone with an actual and viable Idea.
