The only poll that matters is the one taken on election day.

Many Trump supporters refuse to make their views known to pollsters like I do. Three years ago a pollster contacted me and the answers I gave were completely opposite of my real views because I felt it was non of the idiots business.

That said despite all the whaling if Trump were to match up against Hillary today I do believe Trump would STILL win the election and probably by a wider margin.

Democrats will start seeing this with the Virginia election tonight. We will see.

Of course, we all knew this already. Reasons? Causes?

I'd say primarily, their nonsensical approach to immigration and seemingly defense of illegal immigration over the concerns of American citizens.
Only 37% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Democrats, down from 44% in March of this year. A majority, 54%, have an unfavorable view, matching their highest mark in polls from CNN and SSRS, CNN/ORC and CNN/USA Today/Gallup stretching back to 1992.

But the Republican Party isn't doing any better, with just 30% of Americans holding a favorable view. That's essentially the same as September, when the rating hit its lowest point in polling back to 1992, but down from 42% in March. A broad 6 in 10, 61%, have an unfavorable opinion.

Republicans should get an 80-85% unfavorable after they fail to pass the tax bill. Democrats are just a lost cause with no message at the moment

If the Republicans cannot pass this tax bill, they are finished. They had, through their historic win and have given, they control the government, the ability to put in place once in a lifetime changes. If they aren't able to do anything, then screw them, they are as bad as the Democrats.

I'm right there with you. But I'm not holding my breath for anything to get through the Senate with the clowns in there.

They have really screwed the pooch. One year on, I'm just disgusted with the results. I understand that the Republican party is a diverse set, much more so than the Demonrats, but they have had an opportunity not seen for decades and they have screwed it.

Dems are now known for what bathroom to use to people with hoods beating up Trump supporters. The highlights of what they kneel for not stand for.

I'll take the middle ground of being an independent and ripping on both parties.
