That is why Hillary is President and the democrats hold both houses of Congress and 32 Governorship's
and gaining almost 1200 seats in state legislatures in the last 8 years.
There were PLENTY of national polls with Hillary leading by 5-10%...some even days before the election. Hell, some even had her up more than 10. Every poll was discussed in the election forum.
cool story bro, yet the polls for the 2016 election were WITHIN MARGIN OF ERROR.
time and again it needs to be explained to you guys.
here is how it works, you dont get to pick some outlier poll and pretend it represents all the polls or even matters.
in the days running up to the election POST COMEY the polls put the two leading candidates within a few points of each other. which was well within the margin of error.
the absolute margin of error was smaller than it was in 2012, but in 2012 Obama simply won by MORE than was predicted so people who don't math did not question the polls.
in 2016 the polls were closer to the actual result but because the result was not the expected one people act like the polls got it wrong, they most certainly did not.
what we did see for days weeks and months was a bunch of talking heads on TVs ignoring the margin of error and simply declaring Hillary the winner before the polls even opened. In fact i blame them as much as anyone else for Hillary losing. many marginal dems felt she would win even if they stayed home so stay home they did.
i suggest you take the time to google what the absolute error rate was for the 2016 presidential elections.
you will find it they were actually rather good and while there were errors there are always errors... take some time why not it can't hurt you? unless of course you just don't want to live in a facts based world and would rather fantasize...
It is a failed national party with a weird cult-like following on the coasts from rich elite and welfare classes.
I can see why the Democratic party is in free-fall. The only platform is European-level taxation with 3rd world level of service.
The party also has lots of disdain for those who it considers uneducated which means they didn't sit in a chair listening to some distorted view of the world.
Lots of welfare for government politicians, fake researchers, academic elite who sit in oak-paneled rooms working on writing a paper for a publication and six-figure pensions via union contracts.
Thanks for sharing, but everything is relative isn't it?
"....Only 37% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Democrats, down from 44% in March of this year. A majority, 54%, have an unfavorable view, matching their highest mark in polls from CNN and SSRS, CNN/ORC and CNN/USA Today/Gallup stretching back to 1992.
...But the Republican Party isn't doing any better, with just 30% of Americans holding a favorable view. That's essentially the same as September, when the rating hit its lowest point in polling back to 1992, but down from 42% in March. A broad 6 in 10, 61%, have an unfavorable opinion...."
Not surprising given the massive income and wealth inequality in America, causing both parties to grovel the super rich and serve their interests at the expense of the disabled and the working man and woman. If we dont fight to get big money out of politics and strengthen the trade union movement (which has been vital to all democratization in pretty much every developed country) it will only get worse.
you don't need a poll to figure out the Democratic Party is on life support
Yet they just won two blue states in Governor race's ,seems you're wrong.
