Yes, they would say "King George isn't crazy all the time, only sometimes..."

I would say at this point in history there are probably about 12 or so odd nations that are overall better places to live then America. Canada, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Singapore, and maybe even France.

Education levels are better, the people are in better shape and live longer. Overall quality of live is better along with lower levels of poverty, lower levels of violent crime and less social ills.

America was so success in the period after WWII that it lead us into paralysis. If we think we are always the greatest then there is no reason to improve and make things better. America use to be the land that embraced change, now we are fearful of making any widespread changes. I suspect America will stay in neutral while other nations continue to improve and we will be left in the dust.

But these places have crushing taxes and an entrenched quasi socialist establishment, isnt this what Americans are trying to avoid by talking revolution?

No, don't try and get your fellow citizens killed. We're not revolting against some master-we elect these people.

Amazing isn't it?

Of the people, by the people, for the people. So many conservatives/libertarians seem to think that these 'people' were hired directly from Russia (errr, in this case that's probably not a good example). So many conservatives/libertarians seem to think our government employees were flown in directly from Zimbabwe.

It's only a small percentage of extreme reactionaries who have wet dreams about the coming revolution (it's right around the corner! ). If they every start taking pot shots at our police or other figures of authority, they'll be quickly brought down...

Well first, I never said anything about revolting, unless you count simple disobedience, ignoring, or questioning of their authority as revolt.

Second, "we" doesn't include all of us.

Third, you think anyone other than the Republican and Democratic Party chooses these candidates? You get a few preselected options that are all the same and you're told you have a choice.

Roll out puppet #1 who advocates this form of authoritarianism.
Roll out puppet #2 who advocates that form of authoritarianism.
People pick the lesser of two evils and then they do their authoritarian thing.
"Well they were chosen by the people..."

And even if you choose your master, they're still your master.

Please. Go out and vote. If you care-then be involved. All you are doing is whining from the sidelines because things arent done how you want. Actually...whining would be fine. Heck *I* whine/complain about some of it. But that doesnt mean you should agitate for revolution-and no sugar coating it, go read the first post.

Morons and enemies of America want to cheer on revolution.
