All of these jobs could have gone to Mexico.
Just what is it you would have Trump do. I'm assuming you dont really believe any president was able to fulfill all their campaign promises. It appears he is highly opposed regarding any action to keep jobs in this country.

Did the terms of the deal say he would "save" the plant? That no jobs would be lost?
Save how exactly?
Did the plant move to Mexico?
Did the Company keep the jobs it promised it would?

Carrier Statement Regarding Indianapolis Operations – July 19, 2017
INDIANAPOLIS - Jul. 19, 2017
Carrier continues to honor its 2016 commitment to employ approximately 1,100 associates in Indianapolis. As announced in November, this includes headquarters and engineering jobs and more than 800 employees supporting our world-class gas furnace manufacturing center.
This week, approximately 300 employees will leave Carrier as part of the previously announced plan to relocate fan coil manufacturing production lines. These team members include more than 30 associates who have chosen to take advantage of the company’s Employee Scholar Program and pursue degree programs. In addition to reimbursing four-year education costs, Carrier will also reimburse technical training costs for those who prefer to pursue a vocational technical certification program. All team members will also receive a one-time payment, severance pay and six months of medical insurance continuation beyond separation.
As previously announced, in total, this transition will impact approximately 600 Indianapolis jobs over the next several months. The impacted employees will have an opportunity for employment across UTC’s manufacturing operations.
United Technologies, parent company to Carrier, announced in June that over the next three years it expects to hire nearly 25,000 people in the U.S., of which more than 5,000 new positions will be created in support of the company’s innovative new products.

The tax breaks Carrier received for only 1000 jobs, was a ploy for votes. The people subsidized another corporation thats going to pack up its bags sooner or later.

Corporate wealth fare won't solve the larger issue of unemployment, entitlement and corporate greed.
Yeah we get it. You guys on the Left would rather ALL employees were out of a job ASAP.

There are the terms of the deal and then there's his campaign rhetoric and his own bragging about the deal, which bear little resemblance to the actual terms of the deal.

Point is this sets a bad precedence. This is awarding corporations who send jobs to Mexico and overseas.

This is the exact opposite of what Trump campaigned for and possibly the only agenda I liked of his. To hold corporations accountable but I think its obvious at least to those not in his cult that the people that voted for him were scammed. Just like any other politician or president, so much for being "different" and draining the swamp. He's just another corporate elitist as he has proven to be outside of his run for presidency.

Nothing he does or does not do matter to his supporters. It's scary.

Carrier, which struck a deal with President Trump last year with to keep jobs at its Indianapolis plant, is reportedly planning more layoffs at the facility.

More than 200 more employees will lose their jobs in January, Fox News reported.

Robert James, the president of the union that represents plant workers, said employees "just don't have any faith in this plant staying in Indianapolis."

I feel badly for those who put their faith in trump thinking he would save them. He's nothing but a con an and cares nothing for these people.
I see.. so..
Carrier, which struck a deal with President Trump last year

So, if Carrier, who STRUCK A DEAL..turns around and RENEGGS on that deal, how in the hell does that make Trump a so called "liar"?

So your feeling offended because campaign rhetoric didnt literally match line for line an actual agreement made with a company in Indiana? Not that the actual agreement wasnt kept.
