Only legal immigrants can serve, eh? Would you have said the same during World War II? It wasn't an issue with the government then.
According to military rules illegal aliens can't serve in our military the exception might be in a time of war which is probably what happened in WW II. The rule still stands though.
It is not just liberals that don't want this expensive monstrosity.

We need to stop sanctuary cities and use e-verify. Someone needs to clamp down on the people who enable illegals to stay here. Most Democrats do NOT want open borders. How would we even have a country if we didn't have borders?
There are legal ways to immigrate and these law breakers are being very unfair to the people who come to this country the right way. The people who get the required background check, the medical check, submit their birth certificates and other papers. They are documented immigrants. The rest are illegal and need to stay out of our country unless they come in the legal way.

We need to deport the illegals as much as practical, vastly expanding the ICE workforce to help facilitate that.
