The U.S. has a serious weight problem that needs dealt with across the board. Insurance companies just raise their prices on everyone to offset overweight people having more health problems. They know how many people will be diagnosed with diabetes in each state every year they have it down to a science.

When you stigmatize smoking so it rapidly decreases, and you ban amphetamine diet pills, it is no surprise you get more obesity. Curing one problem creates more problems.

Where do these people get these ideas? Now they want to tell you what to eat and when. Some of you should seriously look at homes in Russia. That’s where you belong and take your darling traitor Trump with you....

People that live in cold climates shouldn't be covered either as they may slip and fall on ice. How much money is spent on medicaid each year on people that slip and fall? And as you stated, kids certainly shouldn't be covered. They are not much more than germ infested entities and sick much of the time. It's insane to cover them.

Some of them likely are already there but posing on C-D as an American.

Contrary to popular belief, meat is healthy food.

I have never understood why Medicaid cover's those who are obese. I think an exception could made if it due to a tumor, very underactive thyroid or swelling issue but why is Medicaid covering those who are obese because of their eating habits with government money.

Medicaid participants should only be allowed to be on the program if they have a healthy diet. If people can afford steak they shouldn't be on Medicaid.

As a condition of Medicaid they should have a vegetarian and bean-based diet because eating steak should be reserved for those who can afford private insurance.

I think it's also insane that smokers can be on Medicaid. They should also eliminate Medicaid who are found with alcohol in their system above DUI level
Oh, the old Victorian model of the "worthy" vs. the "unworthy poor" How do you feel about work houses and debtors prison??

Thank goodness that was a couple of centuries ago.

Insurance should only cover the rich. That is the Republican way.

Considering that only a tiny percentage of the population is vegetarian, your proposal is delusional.
