And every single one of these "restrictions" is an infringement of the right to "keep and bear arms" affirmed by the 2nd Amendment.

No it isnt.

Assault rifle: short, compact, selective-fire weapons that fire a cartridge intermediate in power between pistol/submachine gun and rifle cartridges.
It must be capable of selective fire.

An AR 15 is a 22 caliber rifle no different in function, but it looks different, than the rifle I started hunting rabbits with when I was 8 years old.

No, that isn't true. Assault rifles can be semi-automatic, like the AR-15.

Say le roi, you know assault rifles can't be manufactured for consumption post 1986 right?

Right?

The 22 caliber rifle I used when I was a child was single-shot bolt-action that required substantial reloading time. It simply cannot deliver as many rounds as an assault rifle like the AR-15.

You're right, there hasn't been a ban, and NEVER will be.

Rest assured gun advocates, nobody will be taking anything away from law abiding citizens, not now-not ever. Its illogical to even use the word "confiscate" when it comes to a gun debate.
