Problem is, everyone is "law-abiding" until they pull the trigger and blow a few teenegers' brains out.

That is exactly the problem; and by rule of law until a person breaks the law and can be charged with a crime, they have to be left alone.

^ nope. more guns=more slaughter. More slaughter=more guns. I can't say much about causality but the relationship between the two seems pretty clear.

Guns are unnecessary. Plain and simple. You want to hunt, learn archery. You want to shoot, learn archery. Human beings survived eons without them. Gun owners act like opioid addicts looking for any excuse to keep their guns. They are so scared that they got rid of research on gun violence. Again this is addict behavior.

Don't worry, ammosexuals. We've already decided as a country that your gun fetish is more important than dead kids. And the NRA keeps pumping money to conservatives in Congress.

Except you are wrong. Every year there are more guns, yet the gun homicide rate drops every year.

Why do YOU get decide what I use to hunt, or to protect myself, and my family? What makes you qualified to control what I do?

For several months every year the road to my property is practically impossible to drive on. Either due to mud in mud season or ice and snow in the winter. It's quite a chore to make the trip out or in sometimes. In the summer the state police are a good 30-45 minutes away. The sheriff is about a half hour away if they're staffed and not in another part of the county. And since even the e911 maps don't show my road as even existing, it's going to take some good directions to help them find the place. More time wasted. In the winter or mud season they ain't getting there. In the summer I have had issues at times with aggressive bears, rabid animals, and occasional trespassing ATV'ing criminals who could have walked right out of the movie Deliverance. I'm going to have guns for protection whether you like it or not. I am not safer unarmed. You really don't understand the issues in rural areas. Guns are a necessity here. Which is why rural areas continually vote for Republicans who don't really help them at all on anything except the gun issue.

I used to be able to get Burt Reynolds with his Bow to hang out with me, but now that he is older, it doesn't happen anymore. I have a gun instead.

Ever notice that a majority of the gun rights supporters use the slippery slope of where does it end to fight even the idea of a potential bans? And they wonder why the left calls them gun nuts...
