Just sayin yo....Thought those magazine laws and all the other hoopla was supposed to stop these. It also looks like it was previously reported. Not much more you can do than that so it looks like local authorities ignored him like they do most criminals and terrorists. Wait for the "we had this guy on our radar" speech at 5pm.

This happened in California. It has one of the strictest gun laws in America. However, a school shooting took place. Strict gun laws didn't stop the shooter.

If this guy legally had guns than we have a problem. He was out on bond for stabbing a neighbor? Neighbors calling the police because he was shooting guns all night long?

There is more of a problem that if that is all true, the local authorities left him alone. You can't make this up anymore.

First, let me say I am sorry for the victims and their families. If, and I pose this as a hypothetical, people stopped making ammo, what would people do then? Shoot their muskets?

You know guns can travel over state lines pretty easily

Terrible.

Let the mental gymnastics commence. Here is a preview of the next 50 pages

Sending prayers!

More guns in schools!

Less guns in the country!

How did this guy keep his guns?

Someone dropped the ball.

I was on a California forum, heard about this over the radio, found a link, and started a thread in the California forum. I then came back to P&OC and noticed this thread.

Yawn - more dead people from violent males with guns. Another day.....children.

This country has lost any conscience it ever had. We are now #108 out of 140 countries on the "planetary happiness scale" and far down the lists on stuff like mortality, medical care, etc.

We could have a gunman break into a hospital and shoot up 50 babies in the preggy ward and the 2nd Amendment folks would be here telling us about mental illness (of course, they don't believe in universal health coverage or covering mental illness anyway - you should just "buck up" and handle things).

Sad.

The good news is that those of us who seek happiness can still find it in many locales and enclaves. The bad news is all the dead, suffering, addicted, suicidal, etc......heck of a job, Trump. He's really getting this nation on a good happy wavelength.
