The treasury secretary stood up and outright lied about the tax bill by saying only millionaires will pay more. His remarks are easily proven false, but there it is. Pretty much every millionaire will, in fact, pay less, while millions of middle class Americans making under $200K will pay more.
And if a business needs to have their effective tax rate cut in half in order to make a profit, then they are not good managers and should "own their economic mistake"
And if you need food stamps, housing subsidies or welfare to support your children than you should not be allowed to have anymore.
That sounds like an issue between the students and the university. No tax breaks for performing worthless "research" or being a substitute for pampered college students. The rules are changing. Get ready.
Did anyone really expect congress to do anything more than barely nibble around the edges of the tax code? It's still over 75,000 pages in length. And the middle class tax cuts being proposed are very small and won't be meaningful for most people.
Hey, if you have a private jet or run a golf course, you stand to save amazingly. If you don't, well - you're not really GOP constituent material, then, are you?
I asked my mother who is a staunch Democrat the same question. She said the big deal is that "we" are still bitter about the 2016 election loss and will block any legislation the Republicans come up with whether if it good for the American economy/people.
What Republican legislation has been suggested that was "good for the American economy/people"? Not this crap sandwich, for sure.

Not everyone who is wealthy is going to get a tax break if congress eliminates certain deductions. It really depends on how your wealth is structured and distributed.
That said, I don't care if the wealthy get a tax break or not. That's their money, not mine, and they didn't get it by stealing anything from me. I'm not obsessed with other peoples money.

Does that make sense?
I don't have any idea what that has to do with my post. I was responding to this:

This is the most elite, self entitled administration that has ever existed in this Country. I really think these people think that they own America and can do exactly what they want.

I was responding to that post as well. Sorry.
