My friend who is from Romania and lived here about 10 years said she thinks 50% of America is racist.
That got me to thinking. She knows I have an issue with a woman at my work (who is black) and she knows I did not support Obama. So she must quietly think I’m racist. Of course my issue with these people has nothing to do with their race. My coworker is just a rude, and fake women. And I just didn’t Like Obama’s policies. I’ve met many people that call out others for being racist but can’t back up why they think it. For example a woman I know on FB posted to someone else that that person felt “uncomfortable with a black man in office”. That person responded saying she was supporting Ben Carson for president so how can she be uncomfortable with a black man as president. Of course the woman never answered her. They can’t back up their own racists arguments.

If you have a valid reason to dislike someone of another race, you might not be a racist. But you also might be. Hope that helps!

Correct but in most cases the person isn’t racist. I actually think in my case with my coworker is her acting racist considering she will not speak to anyone who supports Trump. Even in a work matter. (Unless they are management or related to management).

I don’t think it’s uncommon to be racist. You can be racist without openly displaying it, so that would mean that more people are racist than you might think.

Why not just forget about what this person thinks of you? If she thinks you're racist, then tell her she is free to avoid you. Because by associating with you, she'd be considered a racist also. If that makes sense.

I’m not judging. People aren’t required to like people of other races. If you can quietly be a racist without it affecting my life then I don’t really care.

Either your friend sees something within you you are denying or she is basing it purely on the two things you have mentioned and it bothers you that someone is offended by your support politically of someone who is regarded as offensive towards poc and women.

I assume your Romanian friend gets her opinion from the biased leftist msm. That’s probably your Romanian friends problem.

Why do you care so much? Obama is no longer president, so I'm guessing it's not a topic of frequency. In general in this country, I try to avoid talking about politics. Granted if something is more timely it may be hard to avoid the subject if others bring it up at work, but in multiple workplaces, the past typically isn't dwelled upon too much.
