Guess Uday and Qusay wanted to bring home some more participation trophies.

I was worried this would happen, especially when his own sons participate in trophy hunting. Killing an elephant is cruel and wrong. This administration seems to be one of the worst in regards to wild animals and the environment.

After reading the article, Fish and Wildlife was trying to say poaching these majestic creatures somehow helps fund conservation. Makes absolute no sense how killing elephants helps protect them.

Nothing in the article mentioned poaching but hunts in Zimbabwe and Zambia, which are used as a conservation tool in those countries. Those hunts, for which the participants pay tens of thousands of dollars are legal and are not poaching.

The US, as well as several states, do the same thing. Bison around Yellowstone and bear hunting in Maryland are two examples. Canada also has the same for bison.

Okay I stand corrected, killing an elephant is cruel.....will edit my post.

Either way, its wrong and the U.S. does some messed up trophy hunts too regarding coyote and cougar. I'm 100% against it. Fish and Wildlife are supposed to PROTECT wild animals not award trophies for hunts or purposefully kill species of wild animals.

It's worse than cruel. Elephants live in family groups. They are very connected to each other and care deeply for each other. These ruthless, uncaring, unfeeling macho men who just need to kill things for killing's sake are the ones who should be hunted to the death. They deserve nothing less.

They don't belong in zoos. But those who have lived in circuses and zoos their whole lives can't be released back to the wild. A sanctuary is probably the best bet.

Not sure what thus has to do with trump's admin reversing this ban, though.
