Looks like liberals are re-evaluating their support for Bill Clinton against sexual assault accusations, now that there's nothing to lose by not supporting him.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/15/u...T.nav=top-news

'Chris Hayes, the liberal MSNBC host, said on Twitter that “Democrats and the center left are overdue for a real reckoning with the allegations against him (Bill, that is).”'

"The emerging revisionism may influence a historical legacy that Mr. Clinton and his allies have spent the past 17 years scrubbing of scandal. Despite his impeachment on perjury and obstruction for covering up sexual liaisons with Ms. Lewinsky, Mr. Clinton until lately had made progress in framing the national memory of his presidency as a time of peace and prosperity."

"Of course, many liberals and Democrats stood by Mr. Clinton despite the allegations because they agreed with his policy stances and did not want to reward those on the other side. Nina Burleigh, a journalist, wrote a column at the time joking that she would give Mr. Clinton oral sex for protecting abortion rights."

I remember a prominent liberal at the time (although I don't remember what he was prominent for), Nina Tottemburg, saying Bill was the hottest guy in the room. A curious remark, considering what the stain on Monica Lewinsky's blue dress was.

It only took the Left 20+ years to come to wake up. That's downright speedy for them.

People not in denial or drunk on liberal kool-aide have long understood Bill Clintons legacy.

He's smart, practical, moderate....he could have been good.....but he's also a pathological, self-serving liar with obsessive trailer-trash behavior to boot.

THAT is his legacy.

Looks like Hillary really pissed off the Dems when she attacked them this year for her losing lololol.

It's kinda what made me not vote for her in the first place...you can't call Trump a sexual assaulter when your own husband was blamed for and even impeached for lying about doing the same exact thing.

They want to act righteous now, so they can claim clean hands when they go after Trump. They have no ethics or morals, it's just a trick for political gain. #byanymeansneccesary

Aaaww, nobody wants to contribute to this thread.

Maybe that's a good thing and means they've finally emerged from their drunken stupor of the cult of Clinton. Sorry folks, but you got snookered; they've been sick and corrupt for over 40 years. It's all there for those who choose to 'see'.

Better late than never to grasp it, I guess.

Actually I happen to have CNN on, flipping the channels and SE Cupp was on, she is so adorable. Anyways they had a big discussion about this. A Arizona democrat in the house was asked about if Bill Clinton should have resigned and she said yes. Apparently this whole sexual harassment thing has turned against billy boy. I don't expect him to do any campaigning for the 2018 campaigns.

Not everything is a diversion, relax.

The Media, Dems, and Hillary covered for Bill Clinton for the last twenty years. Now their chickens are coming home to roost, as Jeremiah Wright would say! lol!

I disagree with Sen.Kirsten Gillibrand. I don't think Bill Clinton should have resigned over the Monica Lewinsky affair. That was not a sexual harassment situation. Monica has never complained about Bill harassing her.
