If you read the article, she didn’t wait. She went to the police within two days. However, from the article she said she initially made up her mind that if sex happened she would agree. She wouldn’t have gone to the police if the bodyguard didn’t join in. She also said she didn’t know what to do so it doesn’t sound like she refused.
There’s a lot of fault on both sides and it doesn’t sound like it’s a case of sexual assault. She willingly went to the hotel room and consented to sex. The police didn’t press charges because she said she consented.
The othe part with his half sister is disturbing. It seems like he was a predator that just happened to find a 16 year old that consented.
It sounds like she got in over her head and had remorse later. For her to come out now and say she was assaulted is disingenuous.
