Statistics show that gun owners and their families are more likely to be injured or killed by guns than those who don't own guns.

Actually, people that are more likely to be injured or killed by guns are more likely to own a gun.

Really?

People get shot in churches all the time. Just happened less than a week ago.

Seems like churches would be a good place to carry a gun for protection.

I'm torn on this. Part of me has to laugh at this guy. But is anyone really going to have a problem if an armed church goer shoots and stops the next idiot who tries to kill innocent people? Not me. As much as I get annoyed at the gun nuts and their selfish, stubborn attitude towards smart gun laws I am a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment and their rights to bear arms.

I agree. Churches are certainly a main target.

The single biggest obstacle to smart guns is legislation in NJ that would trigger a mandate that they all be smart guns. If it could be proven reliable I would consider buying such a gun as long as it could be turned off, without that option thanks but no thanks.
